Kovid for two employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; In the Quarantine of those in contact


NEW DELHI: Kovid has confirmed to two people who were working at the headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. Hindustan Times reported that all the officials who came in contact with them were asked to go to Quarantine for 14 days.

Covid-Positive confirmed to a consultant and legal officer working in the Central Europe division of the Ministry. With this the other officers of the Central Europe Division were instructed to remain in the Quarantine for two weeks and to work from home.

Those who are in contact with the legal officer have also been asked to follow the Quarantine from Friday. Almost all employees of the Central Europe division and most of the legal staff are now in the Quarantine. Reports said the ministry was carrying out extensive cleaning work in the Legal and Central Europe divisions.

Ministry sources responded that the Ministry of External Affairs was active in dealing with the government’s proposed health protocol for employees affected by Covid.
