Kannur: A resident of Kannur Pariyaram Medical College has been diagnosed with Kovid disease. The 43-year-old resident of Belur in Kasaragod district confirmed Kovid.

He had no symptoms. It is reported that they have not been contacted by foreigners or from other states. Health experts said this was a worrying situation.

Similarly, two people who had been treated for other diseases in Pariyaram had earlier been diagnosed with CVD. With this, the number of people diagnosed with Kovid at Pariyaram Medical College increased to three. Hospital authorities said the sap had been sent as a precaution.

Kovid has confirmed that a Puducherry man who was injured in a car accident near Peravoor and a tribal woman from Ayyankunnu who had undergone maternity care had been diagnosed. Meanwhile, two people who had arrived in Karipur from Dubai last night had seen Kovid symptoms. They have been admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
