While the actors curse the coronavirus because they lost their jobs and money, and it is not known when they will be able to return to the theater, their colleague Dimitar Rachkov has no such complaints, writes the website PIK.
In the midst of the crisis, which affected not only the art circles, but also almost every Bulgarian, the citizens of Burgas suffocated by about half a million levs from the looted tickets for “Rachkov’s Forbidden Show”, which was to be played exactly one month later – on June 25, in Arena Armeec.
We remind you that the sect is falling due to anti-epidemic measures. According to the rules, from now on and until the second order, cultural events are allowed only on outdoor stages and with permissible occupancy of seats up to 30% of the maximum capacity.
Rachkov’s show cannot take place in such a way, at least because there is no open theater stage in Sofia that can accommodate 3,000 people, which is 30% of the sold-out tickets. However, the realization of the show in a form consistent with the requirements is not impossible. Because the hackneyed event could take place in one of the stadiums of the capital’s football clubs.
However, this option is financially unprofitable for Magardich Halvadjian’s pet, because he will have to reimburse the money for nearly 7,000 people, who set aside between BGN 30 and 60 – as much as the entrance tickets for Arena Armeec were sold.
To date, 8864 vouchers have been purchased out of a total of 9459. The new date for the show is only in the fall – October 28. However, this date cannot be considered completely certain given the forecasts of experts that at the end of the year there may be a second wave of Kovid-19.
