He will be Dhoni’s successor; Uthappa points to the young player

MUMBAI: The next big thing that awaits Indian cricket is the retirement of MS Dhoni. Dhoni’s retirement talks are still active on social media.

Many are skeptical about who will take Dhoni’s whereabouts. Dhoni’s successor, Rishabh Pant, has had to be replaced due to poor form. Replaced by KL Rahul is also doing well. Former India player Robin Uthappa has suggested that Dhoni may be a true successor to the Indian team.

Uttupa, the 18-year-old middle-order batsman who played for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2019 IPL, is a fitting player for Dhoni’s role. Uthappa pointed out this in an interview with Crickets.

“Parag is one of the stars that caught my eye today. He is certainly the player India needs to look to the future. He is a very talented player who has been playing for India for a long time. He is also the answer to the question of who is the next MS Dhoni of India, ”he said.

Parag, who hails from Assam, was spotted by the IPL last season. The all-rounder scored 160 runs, including two fifties, in his seven matches in the tournament.

Royals captain Steve Smith, however, has a good opinion of Parag. “He is a very promising player. He added that his batting looks like a very experienced one.” He is a good looking player. Smith had said that at 17 years of age, he would have wished he hadn’t had the confidence to do so.
