Following the Kochi I Kovid lockdown, filmmakers including actor Prithviraj and director Blessy have returned to Kochi this morning. A total of 142 persons, including 58 filmmakers, arrived in Kochi on a special flight from Amman to Air India and Delhi 45 people went to Delhi. The group can be monitored for 14 days following the government directive.

Prithviraj, who was initially released from the airport, went to the observatory by driving himself by the car. Hands down. When Prithviraj went to the Paid Quarantine facility at Fort Kochi, Blessy was allowed to stay at Quarantine at Thiruvalla due to a hand injury. The others are at Kalamassery Rajagiri Hostel and Thrissur and Palakkad districts.

The team went to Jordan for the film ‘Aadu Jeevitham’. The shooting, which began on March 16, was halted on April 1, when the lockdown was announced. However, when the concessions were granted, the shooting was completed, but the flight was delayed due to lack of flights. The Indian Ambassador to Jordan Anwar Haleem was on his way.

Prithviraj’s wife Supriya posted on Instagram that she was happy to be back after about three months and that the wait was hard.

Desert taught survival: Blessy

Director Blessy says the life of Lockdown in the Vadiram Desert in Jordan has brought great lessons. The set had all the worries of going through a never-ending situation.

It was not easy for 60 people to sit and watch each other on the set without doing anything. As the lockdown went on, the budget was in rhythm. The shooting cost twice as much as it would have cost in the country.

Businessman Sanal Kumar of Thiruvananthapuram was there to help with the shooting. “The next schedule is in Namibia,” Blessy said.
