“Go to the terrace, help the entrepreneurs”

Nobody will have missed it: the terraces will finally open again tomorrow. According to State Secretary of Economic Affairs Mona Keijzer, we should all make use of this in order to support local businesses. “I read somewhere that a restaurant only had three reservations. I would like to say: people, go and have a look, make a call if there is a place for you, ”she says WNL On Sunday on NPO 1.

The state secretary herself shares that she is going to a new fish restaurant in her neighborhood to have a drink and a fish there. She especially recommends that others do the same. “Obviously keep to all the rules: avoid crowds, keep your distance, and if you are sick you will stay at home, but help that entrepreneur to get started again,” Keijzer says.

From tomorrow noon the terraces may be partially open again. A maximum of 30 guests can be present at the same time, and you must book in advance. There is no maximum on the terraces. However, all guests must have a seat on the terrace and everyone (unless you belong to the same household) must keep a distance of one and a half meters from each other.
