German club went down in history – Football World – Germany

St. Pauli went down in history after becoming the first team to make four substitutions at once.

This happened during Darmstadt’s visit to the Second Bundesliga. In the 61st minute, four reserves entered the game for St. Pauli at the same time. So far, the result was 1: 0 for the hosts, and the match ended 4: 0.

The new rule of the International Council of Football Associations (IFAB) allows five shifts to be made in one match, but with only three stops.

It was made because of the big break imposed by the social isolation of all players and will apply to all tournaments that will end by December 31 this year.
