Forbes named Russia’s “golden” youth, each with at least $ 2 billion


Forbes magazine announced the rating of the richest heirs of Russian billionaires, which is again headed by Yusuf Alekperov.

The list contains 20 families of billionaires, where each child has at least $ 2.25 billion.

“The richest heir ($ 18 billion) is again Yusuf Alekperov, the only son of Vagit Alekperov,” the paper said.

According to him, Yusuf Alekperov left Lukoil in 2018 and started his own business – production of the energy drink Plan B.

In second place, according to Forbes, are the son and daughter of the major shareholder of Novatek and Sibur, Leonid Michelson ($ 10.1 billion each).

In third place is the son of the owner of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Iskander Mahmudov ($ 9 billion).

The total number of children represented in the ranking is 51. Compared to last year, the list has changed – it has 5 new participants – three children of the senator from Dagestan Suleiman Kerimov and two children of the main shareholder of Phosagro Andrey Guriev
