Grigor Dimitrov will return to the court to participate in a series of demonstration tournaments. The best Bulgarian tennis player was invited by his Serbian colleague and №1 in the world – Novak Djokovic.
Nole, who turns 33 today, is organizing a series of competitions called the Adria Tour. It will all start in Belgrade (June 13th and 14th), followed by events in the Croatian city of Zadar (June 20th and 21st), Montenegro (June 27th and 28th), the Bosnian city of Banja Luka (July 3rd and 4th) and the capital, Sarajevo, on July 5th, when Djokovic will face the local first rocket, Damir Dzumhur.
Grigor is not the only big name to support Djokovic’s initiative. The other confirmed names at the moment are Dominic Thiem and Victor Troitsky.
It is still unclear where Dimitrov, who is currently in the United States, will join the route.
The Bulgarian star was last on the court for a demonstration match against Rafa Nadal in Atlanta in early March.
