The Syrian Artists Syndicate has announced the death of the artist and theater director Mamoun Al-Farakh, who passed away at the age of 62, following a myocardial infarction.
Al-Farakh participated in a number of dramas that varied between TV and radio series in addition to the theater, and he also had posts in dubbing animation.
He was the director of the Kabbani theater director, and the director of the children’s and brides theater.
He participated in dozens of works, one of the most famous of which was the series “Bab Al-Hara”, in which he played the role of “Abu Samir Al-Homsani”, in addition to his participation in the series: “Diaries of a General Monastery”, “Days of Wrath”, “Brothers of Dirt” and “A Hero of this Time” And “Al-Khawali” and “Al-Ababeed,” “Escape to the Top,” “Salihiya Nights,” “The People of the Flag,” “The Happiest Warraq,” “The Leader,” and many others.
Al-Farkh graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in Damascus. He was born in Damascus in 1958.
