Of these, 18 were from overseas (UAE-9, Saudi Arabia-3, Kuwait-2, Mali Island-1, Singapore-1, Muscat-1, Qatar-1) and 31 from other states (Maharashtra-Maharashtra). 13, Tamil Nadu-12, Gujarat-2, Karnataka-2, Uttar Pradesh-1, Delhi-1) 13 people were diagnosed with the disease through contact. Of these, 7 are health workers. Of these, 3 are from Palakkad and two each from Kannur and Kozhikode districts.
On the other hand, the results of 3 people who were diagnosed with the disease have been negative. The negatives were from Kollam, Kottayam and Kasaragod districts. So far, 275 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are undergoing treatment. 515 people have so far been released from Kovid.
A total of 88,640 people arrived in the state, including 7303 through the airport, 1621 through the seaport, 76,608 by check post and 3108 by rail.
A total of 91,084 people are under observation in various districts of the state. Of these, 90,416 are under house / institutional quarantine and 668 are in hospitals. A total of 182 people were admitted to the hospital today. So far, 52,771 individuals (including the augmented sample) have been sent for testing. Of these, 51,045 samples tested yielded negative results. In addition, as part of Sentinel Surveillance, 7672 samples were collected from priority groups, such as health workers, guest workers, social contacts, and 7147 samples were negative. In the last 24 hours, 2026 samples were examined.
Today, 9 regions have been converted into hot spots. The new hot spots are Nagalassery in Palakkad district, Chirakkal in Kannur district, Maloor in Kannur Corporation, Municipality of Payyannur, Chembilodu, Ayyankunnu, Malabar in Kottayam and Koruthode in Kottayam district. There are currently 37 hot spots.
