Thiruvananthapuram: In the state today, there were 42 Kovid-19 confirmed. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said this after the Kovid-19 review meeting. So far 732 people have been diagnosed with the disease in the state. A total of 216 people are currently undergoing treatment. The number of people under observation has increased significantly. 84,258 were under surveillance. 83,649 are held in homes or institutional quarantines. A total of 609 people are under observation in hospitals. A total of 162 people were admitted to the hospital today.

So far 51310 samples have been sent for inspection. Out of these, 49535 were not infected. As part of Sentinel Surveillance, a total of 7,072 samples of preferential samples were collected and 6,630 were negative. In Kannur and Kasaragod districts, 36 patients are under treatment. Palakkad -26, Kasaragod-21, Kozhikode-19 and Thrissur-16 are the other districts that have received the most treatment. There are 28 hotspots in the state.
