Abu Dhabi authorities prohibit transportation to and from the emirate for a week and ease some restrictions


The Committee for Emergency Management, Crises and Disasters resulting from the “Corona” pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi decided today, Sunday, to prevent the move to and from the emirate for a week, while easing restrictions on some activities in the emirate, to include raising the capacity in commercial centers and restaurants to 40 percent.

She explained, “The ban includes all residents of the emirate who are citizens and residents, and it excludes with a special permit employees in vital sectors and chronic disease owners to review hospitals and the movement of necessary goods transport, while allowing residents of the emirate cities to move within their city according to the times of the national sterilization program.”

The committee added that it was decided to “reopen the beaches of hotels, restaurants outside commercial centers and museums, with a capacity equal to 40 percent, while maintaining the closure of public beaches.”

In Dubai, and based on the recommendations of the Corona Virus Control and Control Center, the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, it adopted new guidelines on the use of muzzles in public places, with the aim of protecting society while observing exceptional cases that require a special method of dealing with muzzles.

The committee obligated everyone to wear a muzzle for the safety of themselves and those around them, except for children under the age of six, people with disabilities and disorders, and individuals with severe respiratory illnesses or who could not breathe normally.

The Committee also decided to allow the removal of the muzzle temporarily when driving the car alone or accompanying members of the same family, and when exercising that requires a great physical exertion.
