Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Anton Girachenko said today, Saturday, that a member of Parliament was found shot dead in his office.
“The body of parliament member (Rada) Valery Davydenko was found with a fatal bullet to the head,” Gerashenko wrote on Facebook.
He added, “The police are investigating all possible causes behind his death.”
In the context, said the advisor to the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Zorian Shukryak, that investigators consider that the hypothesis of suicide is strongly proposed.
The body was found inside Davydenko’s office toilet.
Davydenko was Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine from May 2013 to March 2014.
She ran as an independent in last year’s parliamentary elections.
