Nine Malayalees die in Kozhikode Gulf Aboobacker Chullipparambil and Moideenkutty hailing from Changaramkulam in Malappuram died in Abu Dhabi. Both men were fifty-two years old. PTS Ashraf from Perinthalmanna died in Alun. With this the number of Malayalees who have died in UAE has reached 85.

The deceased was identified as 68-year-old Vijayanath from Anchal, Kollam, who was on a visit to see his son in Oman. 52-year-old Pavithran Damodaran hailing from Vallanna, Pathanamthitta and elder Mammootty aged 69, hailed from Kathirur in Kannur. 58-year-old Mohan, hailing from Chavakkad, Thrissur, died in Qatar. So far, 158 Malayalees have died in the Gulf.
