Today 18 more areas have been converted into hot spots. Kodom Belur in Kasargod District, Ambalathara, Vellinazhi in Palakkad District, Municipal Corporation, Vallappuzha, Perumatty, Mundur, Kadampazhippuram, Pandanadu, Chengannoor Municipality in Kannur, Kannur Are the new hot spots. There are currently 55 hot spots.

Kovid-19 confirmed to 53 people in the state. Thirteen patients from Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur districts, five each from Malappuram and Kasaragod districts, 4 each from Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Palakkad districts, 3 from Kollam, two from Pathanamthitta and one from Kozhikode. A Tamil Nadu resident has also been diagnosed with the disease. 18 from abroad (Oman-3, UAE-11, Saudi Arabia-3, Kuwait-1) and 29 from other states (Maharashtra-19, Gujarat-5, Tamil Nadu-3, Delhi-1, Madhya Pradesh) -1) has come. 5 people got infected through contact. One of them is a health worker from Palakkad district.

A native of Wayanad who was diagnosed with Kovid-19 has died at Kozhikode district. She was treated for cancer on May 20 in Dubai.

On the other hand, the test results of 5 people who have been diagnosed with the disease have been negative. Three people from Wayanad and two from Kasaragod district got negative results. So far, 322 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are undergoing treatment. 520 people have so far been released from Kovid.
