At the beginning of the March 11 conference, José Luis Alomía, general director of Epidemiology and national technical spokesperson for coronavirus, announced 11 confirmed cases of coronavirus; however, during the conference a new case was confirmed in Nuevo León.
He reported that this patient has mild symptoms and has five contacts that are asymptomatic so far.
Regarding the other confirmed cases this day, Alomia pointed out that one of these was in Querétaro, a 57-year-old man, who traveled to Spain and has mild symptoms.
Another case that was confirmed is in Mexico City, a 41-year-old man, his travel history is Spain.
One more was a 30-year-old woman, also from Mexico City, with mild symptoms and her travel history is also to Spain.
And another is a 64-year-old woman, in the State of Mexico, with mild symptoms and her travel history is to the United States.
Alomy added that there are 264 cases discarded and the number of suspects rose to 49.
