The current generation of Jones names best fielders. Jones pointed to the best fielders of this generation

Melbourne: Former Australian legend and now commentator Dean Jones has been selected as the best fielders of this generation. In a question-and-answer session on Twitter, he pointed out who the top two are. One was India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and the other was England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes.

The question now is who is the best fielder in the world? But Jones refused to point anyone out. He replied, “Jadeja and Stokes.” Jadeja and Stokes are already good cricketing lovers. Not only have they yielded crucial runs in matches but they have also taken amazing catches.

Jadeja and Stokes have been the saviors of the team not only on the field but also in the batting and bowling. Stokes was instrumental in winning England’s title in the ICC ODI World Cup last year. He was also the recipient of the World Cup Player of the Tournament.

Jadeja has been ruled out of India’s limited-overs side after Kuldeep Yadav and Yusevendra Chahal were named as spinners. He was restricted to Test cricket. However, Jadeja regained his place in the fixed-overs team with a consistent performance. This is because of the excellence in batting, bowling and fielding. He is now an integral part of India in all three formats. Jadeja, who was part of the squad for last year’s ODI World Cup, is also expected to be in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
