Action will be taken against those suffering from artificial food shortages in the name of Kovid19.
The Saudi cabinet has postponed its move to the next week in response to the Kovid 19 virus epidemic. The government institutions had been postponed for 16 months. Meanwhile, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that 133 people have been diagnosed with the Kovid 19 virus. Of these, 106 were from more than 20 countries. Saudi Trade Minister Dr Maji Abdullah Al-Qusaibi has said there was no food shortage in the country.
He said ministry officials had inspected more than 4,000 hypermarkets in various parts of Saudi Arabia. The inspections were conducted at various vegetable shops, fish and meat markets. Action will be taken against those suffering from artificial food shortages in the name of Kovid19. Those who charge excessive prices will face it with a steel fist. He added that 24-hour surveillance system is in place to ensure food security.
