PSV keeps successful staff intact: flowers and extension for Stinga and Koevermans

PSV has kept two former players on board, announced it through the official channels on Tuesday morning. Ovidiu Stinga and Danny Koevermans have been involved for some time in the first women’s team of Eindhoven residents and have both extended their contracts.

The former midfielder from Romania has been an assistant coach at PSV Vrouwen since 2015, while the former striker from Schiedam is working on his first season as an assistant. Stinga and Koevermans will also remain involved with the team next season: the two former players have extended their contracts – PSV does not mention until when the new commitments are made – and also assist head coach Sander Luiten after the summer break.
Luiten has been the person with final responsibility since 2018 and signed up to 2021 in February. PSV is – with two more games to go – already certain of being in the lead in the regular competition and a spot in the champion group. Last season, PSV also finished at the top of the competition, but it was won by FC Twente and Ajax in the championship competition.
