Postponed five more Serie A matches because of coronavirus – Soccer World – Italy

Five more Serie A matches were canceled as a preventative measure against the expanding coronavirus in Italy. Among them is the big derby of the country between the teams of Juventus and Inter. The two teams were scheduled to play on Sunday, but that won’t happen until May 13.

The other meetings are Udinese – Fiorentina, Milan – Genoa, Parma – SPAL and Sassuolo – Brescia. All five of these meetings were generally scheduled to be played in private.

Inter also did not play their match in the front circle when the Nerazzuras had to face Sampdoria.

It is very likely that these changes will cause great chaos with the program, because on May 13 the finals for the Italian Cup were scheduled. Someone between Juve and Inter may qualify for it after both teams are in the semi-finals.

Thus, only five meetings will take place from this 26th round:

Lazio – Bologna / Saturday, 4:00 pm /
Napoli – Turin / Saturday, 9:45 pm /
Lecce – Atalanta / Sunday, 4:00 pm /
Cagliari – Roma / Sunday, 7:00 pm /
Sampdoria – Verona / Monday, 9:45 pm /
