Minister Hugo de Jonge of Health has withdrawn his accusation about anti-social testing policy by the UMCG in the House of Representatives.
De Jonge said earlier that he did not think it was possible in these times of crisis that “everyone for themselves” started testing. With this he responded to statements by UMCG virologist Alex Friedrich that the UMCG has started testing more healthcare personnel than elsewhere in the country.
In the room, De Jonge said this afternoon that he takes back that statement. He had contact with the UMCG and afterwards it turned out that it is more nuanced.
