The coronavirus pandemic has killed 562 people in France, including 112 in the past 24 hours, the French Ministry of Health announced on Saturday March 21.
According to the previous report published by the Ministry of Health earlier in the day, 450 people had died from coronavirus, 78 of whom within 24 hours, and 5,226 patients had been hospitalized, including nearly 1,300 in intensive care. Nearly 1,600 patients had recovered and left hospitals.
Since March 17, residents have been confined to their homes for at least two weeks.
