Following a request from the Argentine Ministry of Health, China opened an assistance channel and this week sent 1,500 tests to diagnose the SARS-CoV-3 virus, 176,000 masks and 53 digital thermometers.

The National Institute of Infectious Diseases Dr. Carlos Malbrán, the only laboratory in Argentina that at the moment is confirming cases of the coronavirus, began training staff from other centers to extend the diagnostic tests.

30 new cases

“Today 30 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed,” the Health ministry reported in its daily report. Nine of the patients reside in the city of Buenos Aires, and the same number lives in the province of the same name.
