The gas leak in a residential building in the Russian city of Magnitogorsk caused a fire.

According to Russian Ministry of Interior, an explosion occurred today in an apartment building on Domenikov Street in Magnitogorsk, according to Sputnik. According to eyewitnesses, after the severe fire started, the second and third floors of the apartment were immediately engulfed in flames.

According to the Center for Emergency Situations in Russia, the fire area is now 50 square meters on the second floor, there is a risk of fire spreading between the second and third entrances. Firefighters and ambulances are on site.

So far, two people have died in the fire.

The blast occurred in a five-story building.
