Libyan State Supreme Council President Khalid al-Mishri announced that they will not attend the 5 + 5 meetings in Geneva without the explanation they expect from the United Nations (UN).

According to a written statement from the legitimate Libyan National Consensus Government (UMH) Press Center of Operation Rage Volcano at the United Nations (UN), Mishri said that no statement was made from the UN to UMH, and the content and vision of the meeting were not determined.

Stating that they do not know who the people to attend from the other side, Mi┼čri stated that they would not attend the meeting without explanation from the UN.

After the rocket attack on the Port of Tripoli on February 18, the rocking forces announced that UMH suspended the joint military committee meetings in Geneva in the format of 5 + 5, which aimed to provide a permanent ceasefire, but some UN officials made statements that the meetings started again.
