Fakhruddin Kuja, the Turkish Minister of Health, said that his country has established field hospitals in the border areas to counter the threat of “Corona”.

He added that the ministry has taken all necessary measures to confront the “Corona” virus from the first day of its appearance, and added: “We have not detected any infection with the Corona virus in the country, but that does not mean that it will not reach us,” according to its transfer statements. News agency site Turkish “Anatolia”.

The minister said: “The longer we delay the entry of the virus into our country and the less damage becomes, it is an achievement for us.”

The minister indicated that his country imposed a 14-day quarantine on all foreigners from China, and “we will apply it to expatriates from Iran, too.”

The minister added, “We definitely impose quarantine on everyone who visited the Iranian cities of Mashhad and Qom.”

“I can say that the results of the tests on the immigrants from Iran were negative and the virus was not found in any of them,” said Khojah.

He continued: “It is possible that the virus will reach our country, because it is widespread in neighboring Iran.”

Yesterday, the minister stated in a press statement that all passengers returning from Iran were subjected to quarantine, and none of the Corona virus was diagnosed.

He explained that the decision was taken to land the Turkish plane coming from Iran in Ankara because of suspicions that some travelers were infected with the virus, but that tests showed that they were not infected with the virus.

He added, “Cough cases were detected among travelers, and no high temperatures were reported among the 140 passengers returning from Iran.”

“Although Corona is monitored all over the world, our country is free of the virus because of our effective precautionary measures,” said Kuja.

And announced the Iranian Ministry of Health, the death of 16 people because of “Corona” in the country, and the high number of injured to 95 cases.

The virus first appeared in China, on December 12, 2019, in Wuhan (central), but Beijing officially unveiled it in mid-January.

The World Health Organization earlier declared a state of emergency on an international scale to counter the outbreak of the virus, which later spread to several countries, causing panic throughout the world.
