Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşo أوlu said today, Wednesday, that it is time to turn a new page in his country’s negotiation process towards European Union membership.

Quotes Agency The Turkish “Anatolia” quoted the minister as saying, during his meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union, in the capital, Ankara, “If the European Union continues to deny the rights of Turkish Cypriots in the island’s resources, we will take steps in response to any negative behavior.”

He also stressed that “the time has come to turn a new page in the path of Turkey joining the European Union.”
