A Pentagon spokesman announced that the United States does not intend to deploy new nuclear missile systems with low destructive power.

Washington – Sputnik. “We do not intend to deploy new systems (nuclear weapons) with low power in Europe. Our response to Russian violations will be to use ordinary types of weapons,” the spokesman told reporters on Friday.
He states that in a nuclear policy document, the United States will boost its nuclear capabilities because of its concern about Russia’s growing nuclear weapons, in a move some of its critics say may increase the risk of tension between the two countries.

US officials say the United States will deter Russia from using nuclear weapons by enhancing its low-destructive nuclear capability.

The power of nuclear weapons with a low destructive force is less than 20 kilotons, but it also causes great destruction. It is reported that the atomic bomb that was dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima estimated its strength with this same destructive force.
