A police officer did not attend a summons from investigators of the criminal police who suspected him of the murder of a 70-year-old man. The man committed suicide with a gun in Seine-Saint-Denis, reports Le Parisien.
A 30-year-old municipal policeman suspected of the murder of a 75-year-old man in Seine-Saint-Denis ended his life with a gun on Wednesday, February 5, reports Le Parisien.
The body of the policeman was found in his car parked on the banks of the Marne in Noisy-le-Grand. The official was to be heard by the police on Friday concerning the death of the septuagenarian who was found Monday, February 3 in the attic of a pavilion.
According to an investigation by the criminal brigade, the municipal police came into contact with the victim three days before the latter’s death. It turned out that the two men had a trade dispute. The victim’s body had traces of bruises and blood marks. The house was searched. It was the victim’s brother who found the body.
A confession message
The pavilion where the septuagenarian’s body was discovered belongs to his aunt. Before committing suicide, the official left a message with his wife in which he confesses to being responsible for the death of the 75-year-old man and explains that he is afraid that the body will be found, informs the daily.
The circumstances of the tragedy are still unclear. An investigation is underway.
