MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Trade between Spain and Russia in 2019 increased by 2.1% compared to 2018, according to data from the Russian Federal Customs Service (FTS, for its acronym in Russian).
The commercial exchange between the two nations amounted to 5,878 million dollars, from 5,758 million dollars that were achieved in 2018.
Russian exports to Spain reached 2,558 million dollars, while in 2018 they were estimated at 2,360 million dollars, which in percentage terms represents an increase of 8.4%.
For its part, Spain exported goods to Russia for 3,320 million dollars, which represents a 2.3% drop, since in 2018 Spanish exports were valued at 3,397 million dollars.
Spain’s share of Russia’s foreign trade stands at 0.9%.
