The adjusted operating result (EBITDA) amounted to 25 million euros, more than a third more than in 2018. The profit margin increased from 5.2 percent to 6.7 percent.
Ordina experienced the strongest growth in Belgium and Luxembourg. Sales there increased by more than 11 percent. In the Netherlands, accounting for more than two thirds of total revenue, revenue growth was limited to 1 percent.
In the fourth quarter the turnover in the Netherlands even fell by 2.5 percent. That is because the company uses fewer external employees. On the other hand, “your own professionals” bring in more money.
Ordina wants to reward shareholders with a dividend of 9.5 cents per share. That amounts to 60 percent of the net profit.
