Many people like to have fun with a good steak. However, this food can lead to the development of cancer. A Russian specialist therefore advises not to abuse red meat and to add more fiber to its diet.

One of the factors causing cancer is excessive consumption of chemically treated red meat, oncologist Andrei Pylev told Russian media on February 8.

“Among the proven dietary factors, it is the excessive consumption of red meat, chemically treated meat, a decrease in the amount of fiber in the diet,” he explained.

According to him, coffee and chocolate can also cause pathologies but are not mainly associated with cancer.

The doctor also told the media that too hot food can also cause cancer.
