NRA with important information for its clients – Society

Starting tomorrow, February 17, all electronic services provided by the NRA will be accessible only through the use of the TLSv1.2 protocol, to ensure the security of the data exchanged, the NRA reported.

NRA clients running Windows XP and older browsers will not have access to the Agency’s e-services portal.

Those using the Windows 7 operating system, whose manufacturer support expired on January 14 this year, will continue to use the e-services portal, but the Agency cannot guarantee when the portal will no longer be accessible due to suspension of software updates from Microsoft.

The NRA appealed the fine of BGN 5.1 million for data leakage

Tomorrow, in order for people and businesses to safely use the NRA’s online services, they will need to use at least Windows 8 or 8.1 software (with standard support discontinued on January 9, 2018 with extended support available until January 10, 2023 d); Windows 10 (32bit and 64bit), Linux (32bit and 64bit) or OSX (64bit). Use of the NRA’s electronic services will be possible with Internet Explorer / Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers in current versions that support TLS 1.2 and Java, version 8.x.
