Neymar could not leave his mark on the game of Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, who lost 2-1 to Borussia Dortmund in the eighth final of the Champions League. The Brazilian star is very upset and lashes out at the medical staff of the French top club.

Neymar was missing the last four games due to a rib injury, but made his comeback in Germany. PSG believed that the 28-year-old attacker would be fully fit after his rest period. However, things went a little differently. Neymar complains about a lack of competition rhythm. “It’s hard if you don’t play four games,” he says in conversation with RMC.
“It was not my decision,” continues the ball. “It was the club that made the choice, the doctors. We talked a lot, because I didn’t agree. I wanted to play, I felt good. But the club was scared and now I’m the one who suffers.”
Neymar, good for sixteen goals in nineteen games this season, understands that PSG is so careful with him. “I understand where the fear of the club comes from, because the last two years I was unable to play due to injuries in the eighth final,” said the Brazilian. “I respect the decision, but it should not be that the decision is made for the player.”
“It was very difficult now to maintain such an intense game for ninety minutes”, Neymar continues. “If I was in better shape, I would certainly have played better.”
