Malayali students stranded in Cumming, China

Kochi: 17 Malayalee students from China’s Kuming have been brought to Kochi. They will be taken to the Ernakulam Government Medical College Hospital under the leadership of a special medical team in the wake of coronavirus.

An ambulance specially prepared for the students was brought to Kochi airport. The students were brought to Kochi on an Air India flight.

At the airport, 21 people, including 17 students studying for MBBS at the Cumming Dalian University in China, were stranded at the airport. The decision to go home was due to the coronavirus reported in their home. He booked a plane ticket to Singapore and arrived at the airport. But the airline said it would not allow travel from China. With this the journey was halted. Students are unable to go to a university which is facing a shortage of food. These were reported in Asianet News. When the incident became news, the central government intervened in the matter. They were brought to Kerala via Bangkok.
