Nice and long

After a new version of the regular Range Rover, Land Rover is now sending a prototype of an extended Range Rover into the snow. It is not yet clear when the British will officially unveil the new SUV.

Major innovations await at the top of the Land Rover range. Not surprising, because the current Range Rover has been running for seven years. It may also have helped that the competition certainly did not sit still. Given the mild camouflage, it can therefore never be long before Land Rover rolls out the new Range Rover portfolio.

After the regular Range Rover, the extended LWB version has now also been spotted in the snow. According to Land Rover, both variants of the giant are on a new platform. The Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) consists for a large part of aluminum, which will mainly ensure that the British loses a lot of weight in terms of weight. The new base does not seem to shrink the car. This basis takes into account the possible placement of battery packs and batteries. However, do not expect a fully electric Range, but do count on a plug-in hybrid.

In terms of tailor-made suit, Land Rover adheres to the current design, although the whole is strongly renewed. As always, the rear window wiper is mounted under the spoiler and the wiper “wipes” the window the other way around.
