Kluivert makes a lot of playing minutes in Rome: “I’ll repeat that again”

Justin Kluivert is still very happy that he exchanged Ajax for AS Roma in the summer of 2018. The wing attacker of the Romans, who plays against AA Gent on Thursday evening in the context of the Europa League, says he learns more every day.

Kluivert left for Rome a year and a half ago, and with that he cultivated a great deal of incomprehension. “I repeat once again that I am very happy with my decision to come to Rome,” he said, according to Italian media at the press conference prior to the European duel in Belgium. “I learn from my experienced teammates every day. My goal is to continue to develop here.”
The 20-year-old from Amsterdam, who started this season in sixteen league games in the base at the Giallorossi, feels good on the pitch. “I am happy with the way we now play football. I am closer to the rush hour in the neighborhood, I like that. Of course it is very different from the system I was used to at Ajax.”
In one and a half years AS Roma, Kluivert played in 46 league games, three cup games and fourteen European duels. In all those games, the wing attacker scored seven times.
