Shami, who had a breakthrough performance in T20, made a comeback after his break. Shami took 3 wickets for just 17 runs in 10 overs. Bumrah took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 11 overs.
New Zealand XI opener Will Young (2) and Fert (9) were all out for 82 runs in their first innings score of 263 against India’s first innings score of 263. Nisham was out for a run and was bowled out for the Kiwis. When the final information was given, India were bowled out for 58 in the second innings with Prithvira Shah (35) and Mayank Agarwal (23) not taking wickets.
