Extreme 1.R Concept based design

To answer the question of what the next generation of extreme bikes will look like, Hero MotoCorp launched the Extreme 1.R concept model at the EICMA Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, Italy, last November. Extreme 1.R’s aggressive body lines, muscular petrol tank, and dual tone color are strikingly similar to the Street Naked design. Extreme 160R was born from the Extreme 1.R Concept, built on the precision of an arrow in the language of the Hero MotoCorp.

160cc engine

The heart of the Extreme 160R is a 160cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that meets the BS6 pollution control standards. Powered by 15bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 14Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm, the engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Hero claims that the Extreme 160R takes just 4.7 seconds to reach 60 km / h. If so, the Extreme 160R is the fastest bike in this segment.
