Escobar Fold 2 looks like a cheat scheme – News

Escobar Inc., owned by the brother of famed drug trafficker Pablo Escobar, has unveiled its new Escobar Fold 2 folding smartphone, priced at just $ 399. If we can judge from the photos on the device’s official website, it looks identical to the Galaxy Fold, but with a gold finish and a company logo added.

The parameters listed are also identical to those of the Galaxy Fold, which is priced at $ 1980 or $ 1580 more expensive than the Escobar Fold 2. Provided the company does supply this hardware at such a low price, it would be huge loss. The ad video, however, shows the Galaxy Fold with additional rear panel coverage.

It appears to be fraud, as many media outlets have pointed out. Consumers are likely to receive a Chinese replica of the Galaxy Fold, which would certainly not provide the same level of hardware. In any case, it is advisable not to give your money for similar products that cannot fit your description.
