On Tuesday evening, US President Donald Trump delivered a speech announcing the proposed “peace plan” between the Palestinians and Israelis, known as the “Deal of the Century”, in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The US President stressed that “the proposed peace plan between the Israelis and the Palestinians is a strong path forward.”
Trump said his “proposed peace plan” is fundamentally different from the plans of previous US administrations.
Trump also thanked Oman, Bahrain and the UAE for helping the United States see the “deal of the century” and sending their ambassadors to attend his speech today at the White House.
It is reported that in late 2017 the Century deal was announced, which includes a peace plan from the American point of view, but the announcement of the terms of the deal remained secret until it was announced today, and for the past two years, Trump has taken a series of decisions in support of Israel, most notably the recognition of Jerusalem As the capital of Israel, and the elimination of financial support provided by the United States to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), he also announced the annexation of the Golan to Israel.
