For his part, the Minister of Health, Julio Mazzoleni, said that since the appearance of the first cases in China and its expansion into other countries, the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) have been implemented, especially in the points of entry to the territory and communication to the population.
“The only suspicious case we have is from a person who reported that he was in China on the days of the outbreak,” added the director of Health Surveillance, Guillermo Sequera.
