Authorities in Shanghai are also taking serious measures to isolate the city, our compatriot told NOVA
A Bulgarian living in Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus epidemic, told NOVA specifically about life before and after the Chinese city was quarantined.
“In the early days, hospitals were crowded and at one point stopped receiving patients. There were corpses on the ground. They closed the train stations and then the airports. I was leaving the city by car when I saw where things were going, ”Stoyan said. He added that the current situation in Shanghai is similar to that in Wuhan. The number of patients is growing and the interruption of transport connections with other settlements begins.
Stoyan also said that he did not intend to return to Bulgaria because the risk of getting infected on the road and transferring the infection to Bulgaria is high.
