Yogi government in action after violence, Ghazipur border may be empty tonight


Delhi Police has issued a ‘look out’ notice against the nominated farmer leaders in the FIR registered in connection with the violence during the tractor parade of farmers in the city on Republic Day. A look out notice is issued against an accused to prevent him from going out of the country. A Home Ministry official said that the decisions were taken after a series of meetings chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Tuesday.

The police have registered the names of 37 farmer leaders, including Rakesh Tikait, Yogendra Yadav and Medha Patkar in the FIR. In this FIR, charges of attempt to murder, riot and criminal conspiracy have been made. The FIR names Darshan Pal, Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Satnam Singh Pannu, Joginder Singh Ugrahan, Surjeet Singh Phool, Jagjit Singh Dalewal, Balbir Singh Rajewal and Harinder Singh Lakhowal.

Delhi Police has issued notice to 20 farmer leaders including Yogendra Yadav and Balbir Singh Rajewal about the violence during the tractor parade of farmers and asked why legal action should not be taken against them. An official said that the police has asked these farmer leaders to give their answers in three days. He said that this notice has been issued to the farmer leaders because they did not follow the guidelines set for the tractor parade on Tuesday.
