On Saturday, Delhi Pradesh Safai Mazdoor Union of Shahdara North Zone has also joined this strike. Union patron Jai Bhagwan Charan and Delhi Pradesh President Sanjit Chandel have announced their support for the strike. It is an elected union of Shahdara North Zone. The strike, which started on the call of United Front and MCD Sanitation Employees Union founder RB Camel, continued for the 12th day. So far, nine unions have joined.

Due to the strike, the cleaning system in all the wards in the Eastern Corporation has collapsed. Roads are not being cleaned. Garbage is not being picked up from pulverized houses. Due to this, piles of garbage have started appearing everywhere. It is being told that in the wards where the private company has been set up for disposal of garbage, the striking sanitation workers are preventing the lifting of garbage by the private company vehicles. Because of this, the problem is increasing everywhere. In Joshi Colony, IP Extension, near Ramakrishna Apartment, near Lake Scooter Market, New Rajdhani Enclave, Mangal Bazar Road in Karkardooma, Laxminagar, A Block Market in Preet Vihar, Geeta Colony, etc., the garbage has reached the roads. Common people are facing a lot of trouble due to this. Councilor Geeta Rawat had also raised this problem in the House meeting on Friday.

The strike has raised the concern of the officials and officials of the corporation. The striking talks have been turned down by the striking staff. This has led to deadlock. However Mayor Nirmal Jain said that we are ready to do whatever is possible for the cleaning workers. Negotiations are on with the authorities in this regard. As far as salary is concerned, all the employees in Eastern Corporation have been paid till December. Other demands are also being tried seriously. He appealed to the scavengers to end the strike.
