New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) Public sector company SJVN has bagged a 679 MW hydroelectric project in Nepal. The Ministry of Power gave this information in a statement on Saturday. SJVN Chairman and Managing Director Nand Lal Sharma said in a statement that the Nepal government has allocated the 679 MW Arun hydroelectric project to the company through an international competitive bidding. The project was allocated to SJVN at a meeting of Nepal’s Investment Board held on 29 January under the chairmanship of Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The statement said that Sharma
