Hospital officials have said that 63-year-old Sasikala no longer has signs of infection and her condition is stable. One of his relatives, G. VK Sasikala (VK Sasikala), who was expelled from AIADMK last week for being infected with Kovid-19, was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore. In the bulletin issued by the hospital on Saturday, it was told that they no longer have asymptomatic signs of infection and they no longer need to provide oxygen support from outside.

BMRCI Hospital in Bengaluru said, ‘Sasikala Natarajan no longer has signs of infection. He is now conscious. All their health parameters are active. Also their blood sugar is controlled. Now they do not have to give oxygen. She is able to walk with support. Their health is constantly being monitored. Sasikala, who was close to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, was admitted to Lady Curzon Hospital on a complaint of fever. On 21 January, RT-PCR test confirmed her covid was infected and admitted to BMCRI for treatment.

She was serving a sentence of four years in the disproportionate assets case of Parapanna Agrahara prison and now Sasikala was officially released on 27 January. After the release of the leader, his supporters celebrated in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
