Mumbai: Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days in a drug case. Khan was arrested by the NCB last week after a day-long interrogation. (sameer khan remanded in judicial custody for 14 days)

A total of 200 kg of cannabis was seized from the house of Nawab Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan in Bandra West. Khan was later arrested. As part of the process, the NCB today took Khan for a medical test. He was then produced in court for a hearing. This time, the court remanded him in judicial custody for 14 days.

Minister Nawab Malik had given his first reaction by tweeting immediately after Jawaharlal Nehru’s arrest. No one is greater than the law. The law should work without any bias. The law will do its job and the truth will come out soon. I have full faith in your judiciary, “Malik tweeted.

Last week, an NCB team arrested three persons from Khar area. Among them were British citizen Karan Sajnani and two others. The names of ‘Muchhad Panwala’ and Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan came forward during their interrogation. The NCB then summoned Khan for questioning. He was arrested late last night after a thorough interrogation.
