On an appeal by Amitabh Bachchan from the hot seat of KBC, he transferred the constable wife of Vivek Parmar, the constable posted at the traffic station in Mandsaur, but now he has demanded the withdrawal of the government order. The Mandsaur MLA, who appealed to the state government to solve the problem of conscience, has also termed it wrong. Vivek says that he had requested for his transfer to Gwalior, but the government has transferred his wife, which has increased family problems for him.
Vivek says that his parents live in Gwalior where his wife was currently posting. The wife was also there, taking care of the old parents. He himself is posted in Mandsaur from where Gwalior is quite far away. Now after the transfer of the wife, the problem for them is how to take care of the parents. Vivek has said that he wanted his transfer to Gwalior so that he could live with his wife and also take care of the family.

Vivek Parmar reached the hot seat in the episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati aired on 6 January. Vivek had won an amount of Rs 25 lakh. Vivek was married to Preity about three years ago, but since then, the husband and wife have been posted in different districts. Vivek wanted to get his transfer done around Gwalior district for the last three years.

Meanwhile, she got an opportunity to go to KBC and the host of the show Amitabh Bachchan had appealed to the Madhya Pradesh government to post the husband and wife in the same district. Accepting Amitabh’s appeal, the government transferred his constable wife Priti to the Narcotics Police Station in Mandsaur, but they are demanding that it be withdrawn.
